Coordinated through SICAP, the Waller’s Lot Traveller Interagency Group brings together organisations from across the statutory, community and voluntary sectors to improve coordination, share information and develop responses to issues affecting Traveller communities. Membership includes the Tipperary Rural Traveller Project, ETB, Department of Social Protection, An Garda Síochána, schools, Youth Work Ireland, the HSE, Tusla, CYPSC and Tipperary County Council.
During 2025, a dedicated subgroup in Clonmel examined issues relating to education, training and family support, identifying gaps in local provision and supporting a more coordinated approach between services. By providing a space for agencies to work together, the Group helps strengthen communication, reduce duplication and improve how services respond to local needs.
