A Safer Route for Walkers

The Cosán Felim Loops near Inch are a popular local walking route and recently became part of the Walks Scheme. In 2025, funding through the Walks Scheme Development Fund supported the development of a new trail section at Clehile, removing a stretch of road walking and creating a safer route for trail users. The project was delivered with the generous cooperation of the Butler family, whose lands now form part of the route. As a result, walkers can enjoy a safer and more pleasant experience, while the new section will benefit from ongoing maintenance through the Walks Scheme.

“It’s great to see walkers enjoying this new section of trail. The route now feels more suited to families and groups, and the feedback from regular users has been extremely positive.” – Joe, Inch Tidy Villages & Landowner
