In 2025, SICAP supported residents in Elm Park, Clonmel, to establish a Residents Association in an estate of more than 300 households. Through governance training, practical support and the development of a constitution and committee structures, the group gained the tools needed to organise effectively and begin addressing local priorities. Residents, volunteers and the Tús Programme came together to deliver a successful community clean-up initiative. The groundwork completed by residents, with support from SICAP, has opened up new opportunities for the group, including participation in the SMART Community training programme supported through the LEADER Programme.
