Finding Our Voice in South Tipperary

The Ukrainian Community Choir has become a regular feature at community events across South Tipperary, performing at festivals, concerts and cultural celebrations throughout 2025. Led by Maryna Moskalyk, the choir brings together members of the Ukrainian community who share a love of music and a desire to remain connected to their culture and traditions. Through their performances at events such as the Clonmel Junction Festival, Clonmel Together Festival and the St Patrick’s Day Parade, choir members have had the opportunity to share an important part of their cultural identity while engaging with communities across the county. Their growing presence at local events highlights the positive contribution new communities are making to cultural life in South Tipperary.

“The choir began as a way for Ukrainians to come together through music, but it has become much more than that. It has given people an opportunity to stay connected to their culture, form friendships and share something positive with the wider community.” – Maryna Moskalyk, Choir Director
