Killenaule Community Enhancement CLG progressed plans to develop the “Parish Field” into an inclusive, multi-purpose community hub, supported by a feasibility study funded by LEADER. The study informed the planning application and set out a phased approach for facilities including a community building, walking track, sports pitches, and biodiversity areas.
The project will promote health, wellbeing, and social engagement through accessible community facilities. The study also guided phased development to be carried out over the next 5–10 years, with significant groundwork completed, including surveys, stakeholder engagement, and community events.
