Through investment in new bakery equipment, Ryan’s of Tipperary increased its production capacity and addressed key operational constraints. Building on previous LEADER support that helped transform the company from a distributor into a successful local manufacturer, this project addressed production bottlenecks, increased capacity, and unlocked new product lines and markets, supporting contracts with major retailers and export partners. The upgrade has enabled new product development, supported access to new markets and strengthened the company’s ability to sustain existing jobs while creating opportunities for future employment growth. This investment demonstrates how LEADER funding can support innovation, competitiveness and long-term growth in rural businesses.
