Local Area Employment Services provide a supportive and friendly service to assist job seekers in their journey into employment. Our caseworkers offer specialised services in job search skills including tailored CVs, assistance in job applications and interview skills and support. We can help you with:

The service is for jobseekers, in particular the long term unemployed clients farthest from the labour market with barriers to labour market participation. People in receipt of Job-seekers payments are referred to the LAES by the Department of Social Protection and we work with each client to support and assist them into employment.
Our service is a very person centred approach and we work closely with each client to identify a suitable path forward. Our work includes collaboration with several other programmes, sign posting to services such as SICAP and Tús, Community Employment (CE) scheme, ETB courses, Workplace Experience Programmes, Funding assistance for specific training such as Safe pass, manual handling and Computer Skills.
